Compounding Technician

We are currently looking for a uPVC Compounder to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing and mixing high-quality uPVC compounds in line with production schedules and specifications. Working closely with the Technical and Production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across the compounding process. Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and blend raw materials including PVC resin, stabilisers, fillers, and pigments in line with approved formulations Operate and monitor mixers, blenders, and extrusion equipment Carry out in-process quality checks (e.g. melt flow, colour, density) and make necessary adjustments Maintain accurate records of batch formulations, material usage, and outputs Support manufacturing teams by responding to operational queries Help standardise and document compounding processes Monitor stock levels of raw materials and report any shortages Ensure strict adherence ...
