Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Component Engineer located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Design and Engineering, this role involves component selection recommendation, key component tech tracking, PSL maintenance, component spec definition, component qualification, failure analysis, etc.
What a typical day looks like:
Specializes in the selection, evaluation and part level testing of mechanical components (FAN, Relay)
used in product design and manufacturing.
Ensure components meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory
compliance.
Develop and maintain Flex component roadmap
Work with R&D to drive suppliers next generation requirements, component alternate
selection and component qualification (internal/external lab)
