Compliance Intern

Position Summary
We are looking for a focused and analytical individual to join our Compliance team for a high-impact, 3-month project. The primary objective of this role is to support the AML Operations unit in managing high volumes of transaction monitoring alerts and ensuring the timely filing of regulatory reports.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Backlog Clearance: Reviewing and dispositioning a high volume of AML/Transaction Monitoring alerts within established SLAs.
Investigation: Conducting research using internal tools and external sources (Open Source Intelligence) to identify suspicious patterns or clarify customer activity.
Report Filing: Draft and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) for management review.
Data Entry & Documentation: Ensuring all case notes are comprehensive, audit-ready, and align with internal policies.
