Community Mental Health Professional - Crisis Team, Greymouth

Based in Greymouth on the West Coast. Full‑time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week). Permanent position with Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload, complete assessments, conduct risk management, and produce recovery‑focused treatment plans.
• Provide triage, crisis intervention, and brief interventions.
• Undertake duties under the Mental Health Act as a Duly Authorised Officer (training provided if not current).
• Collaborate with service users, whānau, and inter‑professional teams to support recovery and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the achievement of equitable health outcomes for Māori and rural populations.
• Ensure professional, legal, and ethical standards are met.
