Community Mental Health Nurse - Community Older Person's Mental Health

About the role

The Older Persons Mental Health Community Team has a permanent, part‑time opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with comprehensive or psychiatric endorsement, who has a passion for working in mental health and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of older persons.

This role involves working directly with clients/tangata whai ora, whanau, NGO service providers, Primary Health sector and Aged Residential Care facilities, with the support of our wider Inter‑Disciplinary team. The role also involves working alongside the team at the referral centre as required, managing intake and acute situations.
