Community Matters Cafe Assistant – VH13

Overview

We are looking for volunteers to assist in our free community cafe at Cromer Methodist church in West Street.

Details

The Café runs on Monday and Thursday. On Monday it starts at 10:30 with refreshments and cake/scones; meal is served at 12:00 noon. We serve a bowl of homemade soup and a roll. On Thursday it starts at 10:30 with refreshments, cake/scones – bacon, egg and mushroom on a roll.

Responsibilities

• Setting up for the café.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the venue, kitchen, and bathrooms.
• Serving hot drinks and meals.

Person specification

We seek volunteers with a love for people, a desire to welcome and treat our friends with love, dignity, and respect. We promote confidential conversations and endeavour always to respect and keep boundaries between service users and volunteers.
