About the Opportunity

As part of our Strategy & Engagement team, you'll play a key role in strengthening connections across Kaipara. This is a hands‑on position where you'll design and deliver engagement initiatives that bring community voices to the forefront of Council decision‑making.

In this role, you will:

• Plan and deliver community engagement for Council projects, plans and initiatives
• Facilitate public meetings, workshops and feedback opportunities
• Provide engagement advice to project teams and decision‑makers
• Build relationships with iwi, community groups and key stakeholders
• Turn community feedback into practical insights that shape outcomes
