Main duties of the job
Provide general administration and secretarial support to ensure smooth service operation and clinical care coordination. Process referrals and perform initial triage according to local policies, taking necessary actions to support patient care. Record and file all referrals following clinical triage procedures. Support, mentor, and deputise for Band 2 staff; handle general office tasks such as clinic bookings, OASIS data entry, and managing phone calls. Use advanced IT skills to produce accurate reports on referrals, caseloads, waiting lists, audits, and service development.
Qualifications and Education
- Good standard of education GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths or equivalent
- NVQ 2 Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience
- NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent
