Communications Systems Engineer (UAS)

Our client, a high profile organisation, urgently require an experienced Communications Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• 5+ years in communications systems engineering, ideally within the aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems sector
• Deep knowledge of RF principles, antenna theory, and modulation schemes
• Hands-on experience with SDRs (Software Defined Radios), Satcom terminals, and tactical data links
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field
• SC Cleared (or able to obtain SC Clearance with no restrictions)

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Architecture Design: Define the communication system architecture, selecting and sizing hardware (transceivers, antennas, modems) to meet range, throughput, and SWaP-C constraints
