About the Opportunity

The position of Communications Call Centre Attendant (also referred to as Locating) is responsible for providing a direct communications interface to physicians, clinics, patients, OR's, emergency response and Public Health organizations within the Nova Scotia Health and its related affiliates. This position is responsible for receiving all internal emergency calls ( - CODE and trauma) and coordinating the appropriate response teams and personnel. This position integrates and manages the on-call duty sheets and coordinates communications to on-call staff and assignments such as Multi-Organ Transplant Program (MOTP), SAFE, Operating Room (OR) and Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) teams.
