Communication Planner

The Opportunity:

Provide public affairs strategic planning at the combatant command level, including developing communication campaign plans and public affairs engagements. Interpret command priorities as outlined in the commander’s strategic documents and identified strategic narrative to proactively draft theater-wide public affairs plans. Generate public affairs content and products to include press releases, talking points, key leader opening remarks, social media content, and prep packages. Review, edit and staff public affairs guidance. Coordinate across the staff and component public affairs offices to identify opportunities for inclusion in broader command campaigns. Apply experience with organizational and mass communications, marketing, or public relations within the DoW at unclassified and classified levels.
