Overview

The Electrical Commissioning Technician 2 assists in basic testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under close supervision. This entry-level role involves supporting more experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge and skills necessary for progression.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.

+ Support the installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and associated wiring.

+ Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.

+ Assist in field construction inspection to ensure compliance with NETA specifications and plans.

+ Maintain records and report inspection activities.

+ Understand and apply basic knowledge of mathematics, engineering measuring devices, and safety procedures (including LOTO).

+ Prep equipment for testing as directed by the commissioning lead.
