Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Working Superintendent to join one of our engineering and construction clients in the tri-county area of South Florida. The Working Superintendent manages day‑to‑day onsite operations for healthcare renovation projects and select corporate builds, overseeing subcontractors and internal crews while coordinating schedules across all trades. The role is 80% focused on communication and coordination—ensuring all trades work together seamlessly, managing inspections with city, county, and state authorities, and maintaining strict compliance with healthcare, safety, and building code requirements—while 20% is performing hands‑on construction/carpentry work as needed. The superintendent interprets construction drawings and specifications, tracks progress and documentation, manages materials and ordering to keep projects on schedule and within budget, and maintains a strong eye for detail in active, occupied environments.
