Commercial Underwriter

• Managing Property line portfolio of the company with the objective of achieving top line and bottom line, maintaining loss ratio as per the budget
• Product development related to Property line
• Underwriting of risks under various property products (Fire, Engineering and Misc products)
• Managing various activities related to underwriting, product development, risk engineering, reporting etc
• Responsible for regulatory and compliance related aspects of Property line of business
• Responsible for maintaining service parameters related to Property underwriting.
• Providing training and support to various internal and external customers
• Dealing with various internal teams such as operations, finance, IT with respect to various aspects of the department, processes etc
• Other activities related to the department
