Job Description
**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
The Commercial Intern placement will gain hands‑on experience across the Infectious Diseases portfolio within Abbott’s Rapid Diagnostics Division in the UK. Working across both Marketing and Sales, the intern will support key brands within the upper and lower respiratory virus portfolio, including ID NOW (COVID‑19, Influenza A&B, Strep A, and RSV) and BinaxNOW (Legionella and Strep pneumoniae).
The role also offers exposure to a wider range of point‑of‑care diagnostic solutions and therapy areas, providing broad insight into how commercial strategy is executed in a fast‑evolving healthcare landscape.
This role sits within the Infectious Diseases business unit and plays a critical part in supporting cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Government Affairs, and Supply Chain.
