Founded in 2008, J C Porter Construction is a Baltimore based full-service General Contractor providing quality construction, design-build services & construction management for public, private and nonprofit enterprises. J C Porter employs over 30 employees.

Currently hiring an Estimator to join our team at J C Porter Construction. Interested candidates will need at least four years of experience in the industry to bid/budget projects generally in the $50k - $10 Million range. The projects tend to be interior fit-outs/renovations for offices, retail, restaurants, etc.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing invitations to bid

Collecting and interpreting all subcontractor quotes and scopes of work

Prepare clear, concise, and accurate bid proposals

Produce construction schedules for bids

Concurrent estimating of multiple projects at a time
