College Counselor, US K-12 School

This is not a teaching or clinical counseling position. It is a college admissions and career guidance role requiring direct experience counseling inside a US-accredited or American curriculum school. Candidates from ESL programs, bilingual schools, or Brazilian curriculum environments, even at the coordination or leadership level, are unlikely to meet the baseline for this position and will not be considered.
You’ll be the primary advisor guiding students enrolled in WorldEd's K-12 programs through academic planning, US college admissions, and standardized test preparation. You own the full pipeline: from course selection and application strategy through enrollment decisions.
Responsibilities
Guide students through college applications: school selection, essays, documents, deadlines, and enrollment
Build and maintain direct relationships with college admissions officers through rep visits, fairs, and ongoing outreach
