Summary

Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing coding education programs for medical coders and other relevant staff. This role ensures that coding professionals have the knowledge and skills required to accurately assign medical codes, maintain compliance with coding guidelines, and contribute to the revenue cycle management process.

Essential Functions

Design, develop, and update coding education curriculum based on current coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.

Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for coders and coding-related staff, covering topics such as CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, compliance, and documentation improvement.

Create engaging e-learning modules and online courses for remote learning, using multimedia tools and e-learning platforms.
