Job Description

 
  Summary 
  The Coder II position is an advanced Coder responsible for timely and accurate coding and abstracting of the Coder II will be trained on all types of records to code and audited until he/she passes 95% accuracy. The Coder II is responsible for reviewing and analyzing documentation present in the medical record for cases to assign ICD 10 CM diagnoses and CPT 4 procedures based on the documentation in the medical record. The Coder II has advanced knowledge on all coding guidelines and Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association. 
 Job Requirements   Education  Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent 
 Experience Preferred: 1-2 years related experience
