Job Purpose:

• The company is seeking an experienced COBOL / Mainframe Developer to support and enhance business-critical legacy systems within a financial services environment. This role will focus on stability, enhancements, and integration with modern platforms

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 5+ years COBOL development experience (recent, hands-on) Strong experience in mainframe environments (IBM z/OS) Proven experience with: COBOL / ACUCOBOL Experience: Experience working on Employee benefits, retirement funds, core transactional systems ( banking , insurance , policy admin, payments) Ability to analyse, maintain, and enhance existing legacy codebases and have strong troubleshooting and production support experience Highly Advantageous: Batch processing and high-volume transaction systems Exposure to: Modernisation/integration projects (API, .NET, Java, cloud) Experience working in A...
