Coastal Engineer

• Carry out C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation for local and overseas projects.
• Assist the Project Lead / Project Manager / Design Manager with C&S, environmental and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments and land reclamation (e.g., deep and shallow foundations, temporary and permanent retaining systems, soil improvement, instrumentation, etc.).
• Plan site investigations and interpret results.
• Manage subcontracts (e.g., soil investigation contract, accredited checker contract, biodiversity contract, etc.).
• Supervise both design and site work.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
