Co-Regional Medical Director / Regional Department Head - Medicine

Job Summary The co-Regional Medical Director/Regional Department Head (RMD/RDH) of Medicine will work alongside the current co-RMD/RDH to build and support a culture of clinical effectiveness and patient and care-team safety where the patient and family are at the centre of clinical system design. The Regional Medical Director role provides regional leadership to support the successful delivery of a medicine service and network within Fraser Health. This senior leadership position is accountable for supporting standardization across the network, recruitment, and monitoring performance against standards. With two RMD’s the portfolio would be split with one RMD supporting the general services and the other supporting the subspecialty services.
