CNC Setter/Operator (Turner) : Daytime

A growing Engineering business recognised as a world leader in precision automation components is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator/Turner in Hertford. The company has a nearly 60‑year history of innovation and uses advanced materials.

Working hours: 39 hours per week, daytime only – Monday to Thursday 07:45–16:45, Friday 07:45–12:45.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machines.
• Inspect own work and ensure quality is accurate, thorough and neat.
• Produce a significant volume of work efficiently within specified timeframes.
• Demonstrate appropriate judgment and decision‑making skills when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines.
• Experience cutting metal.
• Turning experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Self‑disciplined and able to work independently.
• Education to GCSE standard or equivalent.
