Job Description CNC Setup Operator Location: San Antonio Metro Area Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment used to produce precision components. This role requires strong blueprint reading, hands-on setup experience, quality inspection skills, and the ability to make offsets and minor program edits as needed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, holding tight tolerances, verifying first pieces, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, turning centers, and/or mill-turn machines.

Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, setup sheets, and job travelers.

Install and qualify tooling, fixtures, vises, chucks, collets, and other workholding.

Load CNC programs and verify correct setup before production.

Perform dry runs, prove-outs, and first-piece inspections.
