PRIMARY FUNCTIONS The primary functions include coordinating activities of the Manufacturing Department in preparing programs for the machining cells by performing the following duties. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following: Responsible for ensuring quality standards can be met. Participates in pre-production meetings to develop manufacturing process. Analyzes drawings, sketches and design data of part(s) to facilitate the processing of the machining of the part(s). Responsible for maintaining the process developed in the pre-production meeting. Creates and maintains documentation, including but not limited to, tooling lists, set-up sketches and process drawings, to aid the machinist in set -up, prove out, and completion of the part(s).
