CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to 45,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently
• Produce precision‑machined components from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Programme and machine complex parts on 3, 4 and 5‑axis CNC milling machines
• Create setup sheets and tooling documentation to ensure repeatable manufacturing processes
• Carry out online programming using Heidenhain controls
• Inspect and verify own work using a range of measuring equipment
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances, typically around 20 microns
• Machine large‑scale components up to approximately 2.5 metres in size
• Support colleagues through knowledge sharing and training where required
