Description

Summary:The CNC Machinist is responsible for the safe operation and set up of a wide variety of Computerized Numerical Control Machining Centers (CNC) or other production machines using programs and tooling that have been previously used to manufacture a product and is capable of doing this with little supervision.



+ Must work with Management to debug and optimize manufacturing processes for jobs or machines which they are responsible.

+ Must demonstrate a very high level of competency with all types of metal working equipment, both manual and CNC.

+ Must demonstrate the ability to debug machining processes and communicate those processes for manufacturing.

+ Must be able to diagnose process problems and determine the cause of the problem.
