gap technical are representing a global manufacturing business in their search for a CNC Operator to work at their facility near Darwen. The role is based in Blackburn with days-only shifts (Mon-Thurs). Competitive pay, overtime, and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the CNC Team Leader to understand clear production plans (CNC shop workload planning/scheduling).
• Undertake CNC tasks delegated by the CNC Team Leader and/or Senior Management.
• Maintain high standard performance within the CNC team.
• Undertake training and development set by the CNC Team Leader and/or Senior Management.
• Report to the Team Leader and Senior Management.
• Work with the Team Leader to implement CNC lean practices and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives (Kaizen, toolbox talks, cutting tool technology, etc...
