What Are We Looking For?

Our Chemical and Biological business platform is looking for a CNC Operator to join our Dalgety Bay fabrication workshop on a permanent basis. You will be joining an experienced team, providing solutions for water projects across Scotland.

Please note this position may require flexibility on working location between our Dalgety Bay and Cumbernauld facilities.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

Be able to optimise tool feeds/speeds to maximise production speed and finished part surface finish.

Identify and operate appropriate inspection equipment, machines and tooling for a given task.

Be able to accurately measure and reproduce components from sample pieces & sketches.

Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.

Ensure that equipment is kept in good, safe working order and all faults notified in a timely manner.

Be able to create programme nesting to optimise raw material yield.<...
