CNC Operator

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Under the guidance and direction of the Cell Lead, the CNC Operator is responsible for proper set-up and operation of the CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe to produce precision parts in accordance with customer drawings/specifications, internal sketches and/or other forms of instruction. The Operator is to prep all tools and work holding for the machine per supplied work instructions by the Cell Lead and verify part conformance after setup is complete. In the case of any program or part issues, they are to inform their supervisor immediately. Constant tentativeness to part conformity is maintained throughout the run and tool offsets are made as needed by the Operator as well as maintaining acceptable coolant levels in the machines used.
