The Opportunity

Operate CNC machining centers to safely and efficiently machine heavy fabrications and cast components to engineering specifications, ensuring consistent quality, delivery performance, and adherence to Waratah standards.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Operate CNC equipment and lifting devices in accordance with safety standards
• Safely handle large components using approved rigging methods
• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses
• Maintain clean and compliant work areas (5S)
• Follow lockout/tagout and guarding requirements

Machine Setup & Operation

• Set up CNC machining centers including tooling and programs
• Load, align, and secure heavy components
• Execute machining operations
