CNC Turn-Mill Machinist

Direct Hire – 1st shift

Schenectady, NY 

$30-$40 per hour

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turn-mill machines

Work with 4-axis lathes and live tooling

Operate vertical turret lathes (VTLs) with milling capabilities

Operate horizontal 4-axis (HTL’s) turn-mill lathes

Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and contouring on CNC lathes

Program and edit machines using G-code

Create and modify programs using CAD/CAM software

Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

Select tooling and set offsets

Perform in-process and first-article inspections
