**Job Title: CNC Machinist**

**Job Description**

The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment, primarily CNC mills, to produce high-quality precision parts. This role works with Haas and Mazak machinery, interprets blueprints, and performs detailed inspections using a variety of gauging tools, including CMM, to ensure all parts meet strict aerospace standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate assigned CNC equipment, with a primary focus on CNC mills.
+ Work with Haas and Mazak CNC machinery to machine parts to specification.
+ Use common inspection equipment such as micrometers, indicators, and calipers to verify part quality.
+ Perform first piece sample verification of work completed by others throughout the manufacturing operation.
+ Detect and promptly report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
