**Job Title: CNC Machinist – Milling Department (Setup Operator)**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on setting up and operating CNC milling machines in a clean, climate-controlled shop. You will be responsible for machine setup, operation, and basic program edits to produce precision components that consistently meet tight tolerances.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up CNC milling machines, including securing all required tooling and measuring instruments before production begins.
+ Operate CNC mills to start, stop, and restart machines as needed while maintaining safe and efficient workflow.
+ Adjust tooling to maintain proper dimensions, and replace broken or worn tools to ensure consistent part quality.
+ Verify that workpieces conform to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
