**Description**
**Certified Nursing Assistant – Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.** **This posting represents an On Call/Per Diem, day shift opening with two shifts per 4-week period, including one weekend shift and must be what the unit posts as needed shifts.**
**_In this position you will:_**
+ **_Contribute to a high functioning team_**
+ **_Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers_**
+ **_Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights_**
+ **_Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests_**
+ **_Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices_**
+ **_Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference_**
