Under the supervision of a Nurse or Team Leader, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides support to the nursing team by performing essential, routine tasks in the care of hospitalized patients or long-term care residents. The CNA ensures high-quality care by following established methods and techniques to assist in daily activities and patient well-being.
Essential Duties:
+ Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, hygiene, range of motion exercises, and ambulation as needed.
+ Demonstrate clinical competencies within the scope of practice.
+ Accurately document patient/resident care in the health records, ensuring timely and complete entries.
