To support local community sport clubs to become stronger, sustainable, safe and inclusive organisations. This will be achieved by building strong relationships with club leaders and providing bespoke developmental support to identified clubs. The outcome will be growth in participation within club sport. Supporting clubs to respond to community needs and priorities in Moray, in line with Council and sport scotland policy, will also be a development area. Under the Act, it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. To lead the development of the club sport offer across Moray in line with the Active Moray strategy and sportscotland s Sport for Life Strategy.
