Cloud Security Support Analyst

1) Monitor CSPM dashboards to detect misconfigurations, public exposures, and policy drifts; log and track remediation tasks in ITSM.

2) Execute scheduled posture scans and validate results against CIS/organizational baselines; suppress known false positives per runbook.

3) Triage high/critical findings, gather evidence (resource IDs, tags), and escalate promptly to the Area Lead/L3.

4) Apply standard CSPM remediations (encryption, least privilege, tagging) and confirm closure in the console.

5) Maintain complete asset coverage by onboarding new IBM Cloud or OCI accounts/projects into posture monitoring.

6) Validate rule and policy updates after platform changes; perform post-change checks in lower environments first.

7) Correlate posture findings with network/security events (e.g., WAF, firewalls) to provide incident context.

8) Keep exception registers current, including risk, owner, and expiry date; chase renewals or closure.
