Job Description

THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Manager, Public Cloud Platform Engineering, the Public Cloud Platform Engineer helps build and support platform services for AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role includes communication with internal teams around updates and/or unexpected outages while working with public cloud vendors to help solve those issues. For each new service that will be supported, this role will focus on building automated solutions which can be passed to our Site Reliability Engineering team to build for specific business units. Key areas of impact this role provides are improving speed to market capabilities for through public cloud infrastructure, promoting development and operations best practices, innovative solutions, technical problem solving, and precision engineering through communications and proper blueprinting processes.
