Good understanding of IAAS, PAAS and SAAS models. Good Understanding of the Public Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services. In-depth understanding of the Public Cloud Pricing Models and understanding on how to optimize the costs. Knowledge of the various cloud provider-managed services, such as security, monitoring, patch management and backup services. Review RFIs and RFPs related to Managed Services or Public Cloud Hosted product offerings. Understand the HW and Infrastructure sizing needs of microservices based/cloud native products and translate them to public cloud provider cost models. Good working knowledge of Cloud Security and security best practices defined by the public cloud providers. Verify that the cloud deployment architecture and services are designed to support and the overall product best practices.
