Clinical Unit Manager

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Unit Manager at HC One, you will take responsibility for a specific part of the home and deliver the best level of care.

• Managing the unit and running the place when the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager are absent.
• Assessing resident needs and ensuring their dignity and wellbeing.
• Mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues, acting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
• Maintaining effective verbal and written communication and role‑modeling professional behaviours.
• Implementing a person‑centred approach to care for residents and families.
• Recognising and reporting safeguarding concerns; participating in safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience in nursing care homes is desirable.
• Strong commitment to professional standards and continuous development.
