Clinical Social Work- Syracuse City School- SCSD

Job Summary:
This Clinical Social Work position will be located within a Syracuse City School to provide direct patient care for the diverse population of its students and families within the Syracuse City School District. Duties will include providing comprehensive care through assessment, psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups, and referral to outside services as needed. Using a wide range of interventions and treatment modalities, the Social Worker contributes to the achievement of optimum health, satisfaction, and cost-effective care by addressing the behavioral, social, and environmental issues that may impede care.
Minimum Qualifications:
L.M.S.W., L.C.S.W. or eligible, 3 years relevant post-master's experience (preferably in a hospital and/or healthcare environment) required. New M.S.W. graduates who are L.M.S.W. eligible will be considered for appointment to entry level (SL2) position at a commensurate salary after obtaining a Limited Permit. Incumben...
