Role Description
We are looking for a highly specialist psychological practitioner to join our CAMHS service, providing expert assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for children and young people with complex mental health needs. The postholder will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting young people, families and carers, contributing to risk management, consultation, teaching, audit and service development, You will carry a clinical caseload, as well as offer expert consultation/case discussion, teaching, training and supervision. There will be opportunity to develop skills in leadership. You will be supported by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist. There are key opportunities to lead on aspects of service development, which may include supporting trauma informed care and practice and reducing health inequalities, as well as ensuring key performance targets are achieved.
