Clinical Pharmacist - ICU Float

**Job Description**

The **Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Clinical Pharmacist - ICU Float.**

**This is a float position that will be assigned to ICU teams on a rotating basis depending on departmental need.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ 40 hours per week
+ Rotating/Variable Shift

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Ensure appropriate drug therapy and nutrition, including indication, dose, drug interactions and drug allergies
+ Evaluate pharmacotherapeutic regimens for effectiveness and adverse drug events, and intervene as needed
+ Utilize the medical record and other appropriate documentation systems to communicate with healthcare professionals and to document specific pharmacotherapeutic recommendations
+ Provide drug information and education to medical teams, nursing and dietician staff
+ Provide patient counseling and education
