Summary This position serves as a Pharmacogenomics Program Manager (PGx PM) for the Central California division. The incumbent's roles and responsibilities relate to leading PGx implementation, local staff's PGx education growth efforts, and delivery in patient care that incorporates PGx recommendations in a variety of practice areas both inpatient and outpatient with a global scope of practice (SOP), maintaining SOP and performs clinical functions independently. Responsibilities The Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager--Pharmacogenomics serves as the subject matter expert on behalf of the Pharmacy Service regarding Pharmacogenomics specialty, devising, assessing, monitoring, and documenting therapeutic plans utilizing the most effective, least toxic, and most economical medication treatments based on the Veteran's PGx results.
