Job Description

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for coordinating, delivering and evaluating educational and competency-building programs for nursing staff and other clinical team members, in alignment with Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre’s Mission, Vision and Values, the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice, and evidence-based care. This role supports the translation of knowledge into practice, promotes professional development, mentors nursing staff, and collaborates with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:
Current registration and in good standing as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.

Masters of Nursing or Masters of Education an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice, ability to teach and mentor staff, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
