Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care Unit

Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy invites an innovative individual for the Clinical Nurse Educator role within the Critical Care Unit, which includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit, an 8-bed Surgical High Dependency Unit and an 8-bed Medical High Dependency Unit.

Role Overview

The Clinical Nurse Educator will play an integral role in the management and delivery of education and staff development, promoting excellence in nursing, acting as a resource and role model, and providing clinical counsel to staff. Responsibilities include leading implementations, evaluation, evidence-based practice, staff-specific education and patient education.

Work Structure

Part-time with predominant Monday to Friday hours and occasional weekend duty charge nurse shift coverage.
