Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership & Practice Standards
  • Provide expert professional and clinical leadership to Orthopaedic theatre teams
  • Act as the specialist lead for orthopaedic surgical procedures and theatre workflows
  • Set, monitor, and maintain high standards of perioperative care in line with national guidance, Trust policies, and SOPs
  • Demonstrate visible leadership, promoting professionalism, accountability, and a culture of safety
• Governance, Quality & Patient Safety
  • Lead clinical governance within orthopaedic theatres
  • Ensure compliance with WHO surgical safety standards, infection prevention, implant traceability, and documentation
  • Lead investigations into incidents, complications, and near misses...
