The Clinical Educator I is responsible for the following functions within the Clinical Education Department:

+ Demonstrates a positive attitude, ability, and actions to adapt to changes in work/work flow.

+ Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational programs for all levels of staff.

+ Collaborating with Clinical Education Department Team Members and Clinical Education Nursing Supervisor in the planning of current staff development and orientation activities for new hires.

+ Assisting current staff in maintaining and upgrading skills in the care of patients through nursing staff professional development and consultative activities.

+ Utilizes a variety of instructional methods and principles of adult education in teaching.
