Clinical Assistant- ICU/Critical Care

• Work under the supervision of Consultant / HOD as per assigned privileges.
• Treat patients in Critical Care - admit, investigate and perform treatment procedures (if applicable) as per the approved clinical privileges
• Provide day to day inpatient management of all patients within the ICU during the assigned rota. This requires a detailed round, clinical examination, review of documentation, tracing pending reports, troubleshooting, receiving the new admissions, writing discharge notes, ensure proper handover, and keep the Primary team updated at all times.
• Collate and analyze records, reports, test results and physical examination information to diagnose disease of the patient.
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized comprehensive medical care to treat / prevent / limit illness, disease, or injury, identify patients risk status and recommend appropriate intervention to minimize risk as in consultation with the treating c...
